Today from my favourite café I am writing this… (I felt it might be also the eclipse season vibes? who knows 🙂 )
I have decided to say good bye to Coaching…
And to be fully transparent, this is my last week coaching the remaining 2 clients I had for the last couple of months.
I honor this period, but is time for me to move on into a different direction, continuing with more creative projects, evolving Hello Cocreator, my creative studio and other artistic projects I have in my vision.
Not because I am against coaching, I still love and respect the practice, and would always be so grateful for it.
I honor the yoga teachers, healers, wellness and holistic professionals who have trusted me as their mentor.
It is the evolution of the industry that doesn’t align with my present and my future.
Someone asked me recently, to expand on the poor and unethical practices in coaching industry and I am going to list some of them here:
- Coaches re-using the same templates and framework and call it their unique creation without doing any referencing.
- Offering ‘mindset- work’ in their programs when the trainer is not Trauma-informed, using only ‘techniques’ that have worked for the coach.
- When the client sees no results, continuously blaming to the client’s limiting beliefs and mindset blocks… and persuading to keep investing in coaching.
- Using marketing tactics that creates FOMO, fake urgency and making the client believe is not brave enough yet or has mindset block for not investing…
- Self-centric approach, to overprice programs because the client is paying to ‘access the energy’ of the coach, only if you are willing to pay XXXXX$ amount of money you will elevate in your life, business, relationships…. Usually the content in this type of programs is really poor, and I suggest to look into if the coach is leaning towards a more cult type of practice.
Notice that I will keep my email list for future announcing of the work I do inside Hello CoCreator, where brand transformations are happening (I am redoing things and will probably evolve more)
If you feel like we can do any kind of collaborating, eventually work together, or just exchange some thoughts 🙂 feel free to reach out.
I am so glad that we have crossed paths.
Thank you.
With love,
Ingrid
